WARRANTY:

  • At Sovereign Armory we stand behind the quality of our work. If any actual defect or malfunction occurs as a direct result of our work, we will correct the problem at no additional charge (including shipping). If we are unable to correct the problem, we will replace your defective parts, or if necessary, the entire firearm.

GENERAL:

  • All firearms must be cased and unloaded when brought into the shop. In the event a customer has a firearm with a stuck cartridge or ball, please contact us in advance.

  • All firearms will be inspected by a gunsmith as well as the customer during the intake process to note any defects or damage present before work can begin.

  • Customers are asked to inform us of any other gunsmith work that has been done to their firearm before we will begin work on a project.

  • For our safety, customers are required to inform us, in writing, of any malfunctions they have experienced while operating their firearm, even if they feel these malfunctions are unrelated to the project we will be working on.

  • If your firearms accepts detachable magazines, please bring at least one magazine with you when you drop off your firearm. If you are experiencing feeding problems, please bring all of that firearm’s magazines.

  • Firearm service is completed on a first-come, first-served basis. Rush orders will be charged an additional fee of 50% of the project total.

  • Any work done to a firearm's trigger or bore will require a test-fire at a fixed fee of $5.00. (simple removal and re-installation of a trigger without modification does not require a test-fire.)

  • For our safety, Sovereign Armory will not test-fire a firearm with hand-loaded or remanufactured ammunition. All test-fires will be conducted with new-in-box, factory-loaded ammunition.

  • Firearms can only be returned to the person who dropped them off. For non-firearm items we will ask for the customer ticket number before relinquishing the item to any person not named on the service form.

  • For any projects dropped off on or after June 15th, 2021, unless prior arrangements are made and agreed upon, Sovereign Armory will begin assessing a $3-per-day-per-handgun and/or a $5-per-day-per-long gun storage fee if a customer does not pick up their completed project within one week (7 calendar days) of completion. We would like to kindly remind all customers to ensure their voice mailboxes are capable of receiving messages. We also recommend adding Sovereign Armory’s shop number (720) 639-9952 to your contacts list.

  • For insurance purposes, we cannot instruct or teach customers how to perform work on their firearms beyond the basic maintenance and cleaning that is described in the firearm owner’s manual.

PAYMENT

  • Sovereign Armory can accept cash, cashier’s checks, money orders, and credit/debit cards. In cases where we work on non-firearm items, we can also accept PayPal.

  • Sovereign Armory will never require or accept payment in advance. Simply put, we don’t get paid until the project is complete.

  • All active-duty military, veterans, and first-responders receive a 10% discount off all parts, accessories, firearms, and services. Sovereign Armory will not extend this discount to any law enforcement officer serving in a department that willfully enforces unjust laws.

  • For mail-order projects, we will send you photographs of the completed work and an invoice. Upon payment, we will ship your items back to you.

SHIPPING:

  • Federal law allows firearm owners to ship their firearms to a licensed dealer for service and/or repair. All firearms shipped must be packaged in accordance with the carrier's policies and applicable law. Shipping firearms is at the customer's risk, and we highly recommend purchasing insurance to cover your loss in the event of a lost/stolen/damaged package. We will only return firearms to the name and address from which they were shipped.

  • All firearms shipped to Sovereign Armory must be unloaded, with the action locked open whenever possible. Customers must include with their firearm a photocopy of a State-issued identification card with their name and address clearly visible, the customer's hand-written signature, and the firearm's manufacturer, model, serial number, and caliber.

  • Shipping costs vary depending on package size, weight, and distance traveled. Sovereign Armory will always insure return shipments at 100% of the firearm's assessed value.
